Privacy Policy

What Peekaboard does with your data. The answer is nothing.

The short version

Peekaboard collects no data at all. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your settings and your saved match stay on your iPhone.

Who is responsible

Peekaboard is published by Navid Gooran (Applestan), who is the data controller for the app.

What Peekaboard stores, and where

Only what the game needs, and only on your device:

  • Your settings
  • The match in progress, so you can stop and continue later

This lives in the app's own storage on your iPhone. It is not uploaded, not synced to an account, and not readable by us. Deleting the app deletes it.

No third parties

The app contains no advertising software, no analytics service and no third-party software development kit. It has no network code of its own, so it does not send anything to us or to anyone else. Version 1.0 does not use Game Center.

Crash reports from Apple

If you turn on Share With App Developers in the iOS Settings app, Apple may give us crash reports and basic usage data for Peekaboard. Apple collects and provides that data under Apple's privacy policy, and it does not identify you to us. You can turn it off at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Children

Peekaboard is a game for a general audience. It collects nothing that would identify a player of any age.

Your rights

Since we hold no personal data about you, there is no account or record for us to look up, correct or delete. You still have the right under the GDPR to ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Email the address above and we will answer within a month. You can also complain to a data protection authority, in particular in the country where you live or work.

To remove everything Peekaboard holds, delete the app.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Peekaboard ever sends anything off the device, this page and the App Store privacy label get updated before that version ships, and the date below changes with it.

Summary: Peekaboard collects no data. Your settings and saved match stay on your iPhone.
