How many free designs can I create?
You get 3 free lifetime credits to try Negink. Once used, they don't reset. This lets you fully experience the app before deciding to subscribe.
How do credits work for subscribers?
Subscribers get 100 credits per month that reset on their subscription anniversary date (the day they first subscribed). Each design generation uses 1 credit.
What's the difference between Weekly and Yearly plans?
Both plans give you 100 credits per month. Weekly ($7.99/week) offers flexibility to cancel anytime. Yearly ($44.99/year) saves you over 85% compared to weekly billing.
Do unused credits roll over?
No, credits reset monthly and don't accumulate. This is standard practice for AI generation services like Midjourney. Use your credits each month to get the most value.
Can I get more credits if I reinstall the app?
No, your device ID is stored securely in iOS Keychain and persists across reinstalls. This prevents abuse while keeping your experience seamless.
Using Negink
What if the AI doesn't understand my idea?
Try simpler, more descriptive words. Single concepts like "wolf", "rose", or "compass" work best. Avoid complex sentences - the AI responds better to clear, focused prompts.
Can I use the designs for real tattoos?
Yes! The designs are yours to use as inspiration or reference for your tattoo artist. Many users take their favorite Negink designs to their artist as a starting point.
Which tattoo style should I choose?
Each style has a distinct aesthetic: Minimalist for clean simple lines, Traditional for bold classic looks, Geometric for mathematical precision, Watercolor for artistic splashes, and more. Experiment with different styles for the same prompt to find your favorite.
How long does generation take?
Most designs are generated in 5-15 seconds depending on complexity and server load. The app shows a progress indicator while your design is being created.
Privacy & Data
Are my tattoo ideas stored on your servers?
No. Your prompts are processed for generation only and not stored. We only track anonymous usage counts to manage your credits. Your creative ideas remain private.
Why don't I need an account?
We use anonymous device identification instead of accounts. This protects your privacy while still allowing us to track credits fairly. No email, no password, no personal data.
Where are my saved designs stored?
Your saved designs are stored locally on your device only. We don't upload or store your generated images on our servers after they're delivered to you.
