Frequently Asked Questions

How much can Mino compress my PDFs?
Compression results vary depending on the PDF content. Documents with images typically see 50-90% reduction. Text-heavy PDFs may see 20-40% reduction. Already compressed PDFs will see minimal change.
What's the difference between the quality presets?
High Quality: Minimal compression, best for printing.

Medium Quality (Recommended): Balanced compression, great for sharing.

Low Quality: Maximum compression, best when file size is priority.
Is my document uploaded to any server?
No, absolutely not. All compression happens 100% locally on your device. Your documents never leave your iPhone or iPad. Mino works completely offline.
How do I use the Share Extension?
1. Open any app with a PDF (Files, Safari, Mail, etc.)
2. Tap the Share button
3. Select "Mino" from the share sheet
4. Choose your compression quality
5. Save or share your compressed PDF
Do I need to pay a subscription?
No! Mino is a one-time purchase. Pay once and use it forever. No subscriptions, no hidden fees, no in-app purchases. All future updates are included.

Tips & Troubleshooting

Best Results

For the best compression, use "Medium Quality" for most documents.

Email Attachments

Most email services limit attachments to 25MB. Use "Low Quality" to get under this limit.

Image-Heavy PDFs

Documents with lots of images compress best. Scanned documents can often be reduced by 80%+.

Keep Originals

Mino creates a new compressed file and never modifies your original.
