Mino is built with privacy as a core principle. We believe your documents are your business, and we've designed the app to ensure your files remain completely private.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data. This means:

• No personal information is collected
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No crash reports sent to external servers
• No advertising identifiers
• No third-party analytics SDKs

Document Processing

All PDF compression happens entirely on your device:

• Documents are never uploaded to any server
• No cloud processing is used
• No network requests are made during compression
• The app works completely offline
• Only files you explicitly select are accessed

Local Data Storage

Mino stores minimal data locally on your device:

• Compression history (file names and sizes) for statistics
• Your preferred compression quality setting

This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

No Account Required

Mino does not require any account creation or sign-in. There is no registration, no email collection, and no user profiles.

Third-Party Services

Mino does not integrate with any third-party services that collect data. The only external connection is to Apple's App Store for purchase verification, which is handled entirely by Apple.

Open Source Components

Mino uses the MuPDF library for PDF processing, which is licensed under AGPL. The library runs entirely locally and does not transmit any data. Source code for MuPDF is available at mupdf.com.

Children's Privacy

Since we don't collect any data, Mino is safe for users of all ages.
